Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society,
begins its centennial celebration on January 1, 2019 to commemorate its founding on November 14, 1919 by a junior undergraduate student named Ruth Helen Barnes:
Because the first official induction ceremony of new members was conducted on May 1, 1920, our centennial commemoration will continue through June 30, 2020.
During this 18-month celebration, we will recognize our Society’s 100-years through numerous initiatives and projects detailed on our new centennial webpage:

Please bookmark and visit this page often for regular updates on various opportunities to participate in this historic commemoration.
A special “Felicidades” section of Entre Nosotros will feature reflections/tributes from Sigma Delta Pi’s members and friends, who are invited to submit their warm wishes for the 100th birthday of the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society.
Submission deadline: January 25, 2019
