Dr. Leonor Taiano, Chapter Adviser of Carson-Newman University, has enjoyed multiple publications in 2024: an article “De Guerreros y Enamorados: El Abencerraje y la Hermosa Jarifa en un Mundo de Contrastes” published Caligrama: Revista de Estudos Românicos; a book chapter “The Law of War in Infortunios de Alonso Ramírez” in the book Climate Change and Trans-Atlantic Transformations (Escribana Books), and an co-edited volume with Wladimir Chávez and Gen Yamabe and entitled Finisterre II: Revisiting the Last Place on Earth Migrations in Spanish and Latin American Culture and Literature (Waxmann Verlag).

Dr. Noël Valis, Chapter Adviser of the Alpha Beta Beta Chapter at Yale University, was appointed Kingman Brewster, Jr. Professor of Spanish and Portuguese, at Yale, and elected to the American Academy of Sciences and Letters.
