This fall, Sigma Delta Pi’s National Executive Committee plans to appoint additional members of our Board of Student Advisers (BSA).  Established in 2016, the BSA provides national leadership opportunities to our undergraduate and graduate student members of Sigma Delta Pi.  For related details, please review the BSA charter.

Active student members of Sigma Delta Pi who are interested in becoming members of our Board of Student Advisers should submit  to the Executive Director via e-mail (SDPNational@gmail.com) the following information by Friday, September 24, 2021:

  1. Statement of interest.
  2. CV (résumé).

The two new appointees will join the current members of the BSA (see https://sigmadeltapi.org/contact/board-of-student-advisers/) and work together on current projects and as outlined in the aforementioned charter.

Sigma Delta Pi: Graduate Research Grant Program, 2020

Sigma Delta Pi, National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society

is pleased to announce its graduate research grant program for the summer of 2020 and the 2020-21 academic year. An eligible graduate student who is an active member of Sigma Delta Pi may apply for one grant of up to $2000 to support travel ABROAD to Spain, Spanish America or another region outside of the U.S. where Spanish is spoken, and for the sole purpose of research related to Hispanic Studies.  No more than five total grants may be awarded in 2020 based upon the quality and depth of the pool of applications.
