Sigma Delta Pi’s current centennial celebration also recognizes its long-standing partner: the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. As part of the ongoing research for the upcoming (summer 2020) book on Sigma Delta Pi’s 100-year history (1919-2019), a “Special Note” has just been published in the March 2019 issue of Hispania that outlines some of the many historical ties between the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society and the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese:
