Sigma Delta Pi, National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society,

is pleased to announce its graduate research grant program for the summer of 2021 and the 2021-22 academic year.
An eligible graduate student who is an active member of Sigma Delta Pi may apply for one grant of up to $2000 to support travel ABROAD to Spain, Spanish America or another region outside of the U.S. where Spanish is spoken, and for the sole purpose of research related to Hispanic Studies.  No more than five total grants may be awarded in 2021 based on the quality and depth of the pool of applications.

Sigma Delta Pi’s 3rd Annual Graduate Research Grant Symposium was originally scheduled for last month’s Kentucky Foreign Language Conference, which was cancelled due to the pandemic.

However, as a substitute, recipients of Sigma Delta Pi graduate research grants in 2019 have graciously provided recordings of their presentations that are now available online at our national website:

Sigma Delta Pi’s 17th annual Informative Session, 2-3:30pm, Patterson Hall 206

at the 72nd Kentucky Foreign Language Conference, April 11-13, 2019
at the University of Kentucky.

On Friday evening, April 12 at 6:30pm, Sigma Delta Pi will feature a reception for our attendees and special
at the Hyatt Regency Lexington (401 East High Street).
